Bad signal

Bad programming at this signal at Kashimira, Miraroad; wastes 15-20mins of my time everyday.

How? you ask!
First you got the understand the trafic that flows this way, Kashimira is the junction where all trafic bound for Miraroad and Bhyander turns right while that bound for Borivli goes straight.

This signal never turns green for traffic to turn right, thus all Miraroad bound traffic is stopped. After some time we have so much traffic that the whole road is closed, and traffic to Borivli too cannot move. This end in drivers breaking the signal in frustration and that is how we get moving. I have seen the signal change on rare occasions, but I guess this happens once every 30 mins and when it does its not for more than 2 mins. So the road is as good as closed. This I feel is because the proportion of traffic flowing in those directions was not taken into account properly, and no one monitors it anymore to track if it is programmed correct.

Ideally volume of traffic should be regularly and such flaw should be corrected, so that time is not wasted.
